From the BQNA 2019 AGM Report.

The respite centre is for a short term and will be a shelter for couples and single women. A Community Liaison Committee (CLC) was established by the City to provide community input into the respite centre. A BQNA representative attended the initial meeting on May 22. The CLC will continue to meet monthly. All neighbourhood buildings are encouraged to send a representative. To do so please contact the BQNA or Bushra Mir, at Councillor Joe Cressy’s office, for more information.
