Please join us in collecting air pollution data in Bathurst Quay.
We’re studying how much fine particulate pollution is present in Bathurst Quay and where levels change. Traffic and aircraft produce emissions nearby. By wearing a portable personal monitor that measures PM1.0 and PM2.5, you can help us create a community map of the air quality in your neighbourhood.
We’re seeking 5–12 adults (18+) to carry or wear the device during their usual commutes and travels for two weeks in November 2026. The device, we've called AirWear, records particulate readings with time and location.
This study has been approved by the Research Ethics Board of York University. Participation is voluntary and compensated. You can choose to withdraw from the study at any time.
