Hoverlink Ontario Inc. will host a public information session at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre on Tuesday, June 10 to provide an overview of a rapid passenger hovercraft service between the Niagara region and Toronto.

Their notice does not include the departure and arrival location. Currently it is proposed for the Southwest end of the western gap, next to Billy Bishop Airport, directly across from our neighbourhood.

The Western Gap is also a busy boating channel – sailboats large and small, cruise boats, jet skis, motor boats, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. so having a large hovercraft and dock in the narrow channel could potentially be a safety issue.

Proposed departure and arrival location in the Western Gap for the Toronto Hoverlink.
