Hoverlink Ontario Inc. will host a public information session at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre on Tuesday, June 10 to provide an overview of a rapid passenger hovercraft service between the Niagara region and Toronto.
Their notice does not include the departure and arrival location. Currently it is proposed for the Southwest end of the western gap, next to Billy Bishop Airport, directly across from our neighbourhood.
The Western Gap is also a busy boating channel – sailboats large and small, cruise boats, jet skis, motor boats, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. so having a large hovercraft and dock in the narrow channel could potentially be a safety issue.

There is an in-person meeting at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre as well as a virtual meeting option. Please register for either in-person or virtual, depending on your preference.
Tuesday June 10 – 6:30-8:00 p.m.
In-person
At the Toronto Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre in the Dance Studio
