The "thundersnow" winter storm of Friday evening, March 3, came with not only a large dumping of snow, but also lots of lightening and thunder. Unfortunately, one of the large Willow trees in Little Norway Park was hit by lightening and half the tree is on the ground. Hopefully the remaining part of the tree will be able to continue on.
The city has been notified and they should take care of the tree by midweek.
