The site for the mural is at Queen's Quay West and Eireann Quay, highly visible to pedestrians and traffic. The site faces the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre and City School on one side, Little Norway Park on the other, and is directly north of Billy Bishop Airport.
"StreetARToronto (StART), a program of the City of Toronto, Transportation Services Division is requesting feedback on designs proposed for the Bathurst Quay Mural Project (BQMP). The BQMP is part of the Bathurst Quay Neighbourhood Plan (BQNP), an ongoing multi-site revitalization of Toronto's Bathurst Quay neighbourhood with a focus on arts and culture."
There are two ways to provide your feedback to help select the artist and their design
On Sunday, April 24th between noon and 1:30 p.m. there will be an in-person event held at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre. The Artists will be in attendance to answer any questions about their designs and all interested members of the public are welcome to drop by to offer feedback directly.
