FIFA is coming soon and here are some things that might be good to know as this event rolls into Toronto since we're so close to the action. There will be changes to TTC schedules and routes; underground night markets with music will be held on Bathurst Quay Common (in front of the silos) for 20 nights; there will be a rideshare pick up and drop off zone on Stadium Road. And maybe more...

1. TTC changes and enhancements
June 7 to July 25, 2026
The stops at Fleet Street/Strachan Avenue and Fleet Street/Fort York Boulevard will not be served until the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Customers can board at the new Fleet Hub (at Fort York Boulevard and Fleet Street), which is currently under construction.
Match Days:
Friday, June 12, at 3 p.m.
Wednesday, June 17, at 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 20, at 4 p.m.
Tuesday, June 23, at 7 p.m.
Friday, June 26, at 3 p.m.
Thursday, July 2, at 7 p.m.
Pre-Match and Post-Match: From one hour before the Toronto Stadium gates open until two hours after they close, the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcars will not serve Exhibition Loop and instead end at the Fleet Hub. Customers requiring accessible service may remain on board to continue to the Exhibition Loop.
Post-Match: Eastbound 509 Harbourfront streetcars will not service stops between the Fleet Hub and Bathurst Street/Queens Quay, and northbound 511 Bathurst streetcars will not service stops between the Fleet Hub and King Street West. These temporary stop closures will support smoother operations during increased post-match crowds. Signage and TTC staff will advise when service has resumed.
June 7 - July 25, 2026
510 Spadina streetcars will turn back at Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay and will not serve Union Station. Customers can transfer to a 509 Harbourfront streetcar at Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay to reach Union Station. Increased Harbourfront streetcar service will help customers with this transfer. This temporary route change on the Spadina streetcar will support increased service on the 509 Harbourfront streetcar along Queens Quay for FIFA. 310 Spadina Night streetcars will continue to operate between Spadina Station and Union Station.
TTC Enhancements
509 Harbourfront streetcar: Increased service: every 5 minutes at most times of day, every day, from June 7 to July 25. Overnight streetcar service via the 309 Harbourfront streetcar will be added on a 20-minute frequency from June 7 to July 12.
511 Bathurst streetcar: Increased service: every 5 minutes at most times of day, every day, from June 7 to July 25. Overnight bus service will be converted to streetcar service via the 311 Bathurst streetcar from June 7 to July 25.
504 King Streetcar: Increased service: every 5 minutes at most times of day, every day, from June 7 to July 25. Ongoing work with the City and Toronto Police Services on enhanced priority measures to keep service moving along King Street.
Line 1 and 2 subways: June 12, 17, 23, and July 2 match days, as well as July 3 and 11 FIFA Fan Festival - 6 days in total – subway service will end approximately one hour later than usual.
