The 545 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Shelter is now closed to clients. The site will be returned to the Landlord on September 30, 2026. As part of the transition plan, there will be outreach services available as outlined below.

Strong Towns Toronto showcased the Bathurst Quay neighbourhood last weekend, sponsoring a community walking tour led by a BQNA board member. Almost 20 people explored our oasis by the lake, learning about the amazing opportunities as well as some of the challenges facing our neighbourhood.

2026 year in review – the Bathurst Quay Neighbourhood Association. We are only half way through 2026 but the BQNA has been busy working to help improve the quality of individual and community life in the Bathurst Quay neighbourhood.

The City of Toronto has made the decision not to renew the lease at the 545 Lake Shore site, and the shelter services will be responsibly and compassionately wound down by September 2026.
